How to arrive to Palmers Lodge from the different airports?

Having a big number of airports around the same city means that you will probably have to take a long trip to the city centre. London offers the possibility to land on several airports and some are situated in the north, like Luton and Stansted; in the south which is the case of Gatwick; in the east we have the Southend and in the west the massive Heathrow. But the question is: “how can I go to one of the Palmers Lodge hostels from this particular airport?” Well, in this article we’ll try to bring you the best possible answer.

How to go to Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage:

An independent chain of award winning, boutique hostels.

Heathrow Airport: If you come from here, you can take the Underground Piccadilly Line (Eastbound) to Greenpark, and change to the Jubilee Line (Northbound) to Swiss Cottage Station*. Once then walk via College Crescent about 400 feet.

Luton Airport: From this airport, the better option is taking the Thameslink train to West Hampstead and then take the Underground Jubilee Line (Southbound) to Swiss Cottage Station*. Another option is taking the National Express bus (A1) to Finchley Road Station. From there you just need to walk five minutes to the hostel. Just go south on Finchley Road and turn to the left on College Crescent walking up hill. We will be on a corner in front of a flower shop located in the intersection.

Stansted Airport: the easiest way to arrive to Palmers Swiss Cottage, is taking the National Express bus (A6) to Finchley Road. Same as from Luton airport, from there you just need to walk five minutes to the hostel. Just go south on Finchley road and turn to the left on College Crescent walking up hill. We will be on a corner in front of a flower shop located in the intersection.

Southend Airport: From here, you need to take the train (it costs around 15£) which goes to Liverpool Street Station. Once here, take the Underground Central Line (Westbound) to Bond Street Station, and then take the Jubilee Line (Northbound) to Swiss Cottage Station*.

Gatwick Airport: This airport has a train which goes to London Bridge Station where you can take later the Underground Jubilee Line (Northbound) to Swiss Cottage Station*.

Eurostar (King’s Cross St. Pancras): If you arrive to London on the Eurostar train, just take the Metropolitan Line (Westbound) from King’s Cross St. Pancras Tube Station to Finchley Road Station. This tube station is less than 5 minutes away from our hostel in Swiss Cottage like shown in the following map.
