We constantly strive to improve in order to offer our guests the best possible accommodation. Focusing on guest comfort, convenience, affordability and health and safety, we ensure that guests enjoy every moment of their stay with us. The ever expanding industry of travel changes every day and we hold our standards at the forefront of the movement with impeccable accommodations backed by our unmatched customer care. Our reputation as one of the best independent hostels in the UK is not by default; we have worked diligently to improve and to provide our guests with the best experience imaginable away from home.
Best Customer Service:
The customer is the heart of our business, so making sure their needs are looked after is our highest priority.
To do this, we recently created a permanent role to solely look after customer service, guest relations and to monitor guest enquiries.
We have created and now host several social media platforms and actively engage and interact with guest and followers over questions, concerns, travel tips and recommendations. We implemented HootSuite into our marketing vision, which allows us to successfully monitor our accounts from one platform and thus respond quickly with feedback.
We send out welcome emails to all guests prior to their arrival at Palmers Lodge, which contain video guides to remind guests of what to pack for their trip, location of Palmers Lodge and what attractions are nearby.
We also organise monthly themed nights and free guided days out.
