Which are the Best Pubs and Clubs in Camden?
If you’re staying in Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage then, the closest place to go would be would be Walkabout Swiss Cottage, they are quite popular due to their karaoke nights and if there’s quite a few guests that join in the best thing about it is that it’s less than 6 minutes walking distance from the hostel, Part of the O2 Centre. It’s great fun and they have some cool prizes like free drinks or meals or free t-shirts.
Joe’s in Camden town is quite good as well in terms of location and music. This not a big pub it’s actually quite small but the deco is really nice and their resident DJ is pretty good and knows how to put people in to dancing mode, everyone in there is dancing except the people waiting to be served by the bar which makes it cool, it’s also the last pub to close during weekdays at midnight and on Fridays and Saturdays they are open until 3AM

It’s the first pub to see as soon as you arrive to Camden so you won’t miss The Monarch although not as busy during the week it’s very popular during weekends due to their 70’s 80’s music. Note that they have a cover charge of £10.00

If that doesn’t fit your party needs then go on move over to Proud Camden, a little bit more expensive than other places in Camden but the location is really nice located in the Camden Lock area where the stables are keep walking on the right side on till you see it, good music always busy in the weeks and they have really beautiful bartenders after 12:00 am they usually start dancing on the bar
The Horse Hospital, Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road
Camden, London NW1 8AH

While you’re there and if you want to listen to Latin music Cuban bar is really good as well, I prefer to go on Sundays where they have a resident live band and it’s defiantly something to check out, sad thing about it they do close quite early, usually on Friday, Saturdays they have a 2nd floor where they keep open until 2:30am where people can dance but they play regular music not Cuban.

If you are in the mood for clubbing we would recommend Koko, they are only open on Fridays &Saturdays and most of the time there’s something going on, whether it’s a live band or a good DJ. The building is really beautiful as it used to be a theatre where even the flooring is still original, or just as it used to be in the old days, they have a massive dance floor and 2 or 3 floors with long balconies where, entry starts from £10 to £15 and you can also buy tickets online in advance. The best time to go the would be around 11:30PM, and it’s located just in front of Mornington Crescent tube station still on Camden high street,
