We are thrilled to announce that Palmers Lodges have been featured in a new eBook, The Luxury Hostels of Europe by Kash Bhattacharya. Battacharya began this project after realising there was a whole segment of travellers who wanted more comfort and style, but were unwilling to give up the kind of character and low price hostels provided. He set out to find out where they stayed and discovered a whole range of luxury hostels in Europe.
The 39 hostels reviewed in the book were handpicked by the author himself, and include a wide range of locations, from Lisbon to Berlin and beyond. We’re extremely pleased to be included in such a list, along with other hostels that cater to travellers wanting more from their hostels than just a place to sleep.
Battacharya writes,“The staff look after their guests well. They’re people who are just travellers like you and me and always armed with great tips.” It’s true. We love to travel! If you’re looking for more great tips on London and travelling in general, check out the other articles on our blog.
“There are tons of comfy sofas where guests vegetate, smartphone in hand, surfing the web, thanks to the excellent free wifi in both hostels.” Speaking of the internet, we also have some neat things to share on social media. We share even more tips and great photos on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Google+.
“Overall, I had a great stay at both Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage and Hillspring Lodge. They’re refreshing alternatives to the mundane, soulless chains of budget hotels London and they offer the personal touch that you crave when you’re a stranger in a city.”
