Unless you are lucky enough to count with an unlimited budget for your next visit to London, you’ll find it comes handy to include a few cheap meals while you visit the capital.
Fortunately, when you are in London eating on the cheap doesn’t mean you will be missing out on the best food as London has some of the widest and tastiest culinary choice in the world.
Chinese Food: Yum Cha (Camden) Their Dim Sum is simply great -and half price after 5pm on Mon, Tues & Wed
Vegetarian: Food for Thought (Covent Garden) Flavourful and good value grub with a Mediterranean (or Asian) twist. Some vegan dishes.
Japanese Food: Sushi & More (Finchley Road) Round the corner from Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage, their Katsu Curry is to die for and a great plus the sushi is half price after 5pm.
Thai Food: Amaranth (Earlsfield) A little bit out of town in South West London but arguably one of the best Thai eateries in London
Indian Food: Tayyabs (Whitechapel) Four Words: Ginger Grilled Lamb Chops… Seriously the best chops you will have anywhere, ever!
Vietnamese Food: Mien Tay (Shoreditch and Battersea)
Burmese Food: Mandalay (Edgware Road) Not as cheap as it used to be but go there at noon and order their Lunch Menu which still offers really good value.
Argentinian Food: La Patagonia (Camden High Street) With several Argentinian staff to corroborate it, you can take it from us The Best Value (and tastiest) Parrillada in Town.
Pizza: Franco Manca (Brixton Village) This trendy market has a wide choice of great places to eat but the long queue outside this pizzeria speaks for itself -well worth the wait and so reasonably priced!
Korean Food: Bibimbap (Soho) Go for their signature dish “bibimbap” soooo delicious with the added bonus that it’s also pretty healthy.
